Geranium ‘Fire Queen’
Geraniums are a tried and trusted for the garden when it comes to summer bedding plants. The variety ‘Fire Queen’ with its brilliant colouring will brighten up any open, well drained spot in the garden.
Beautiful Begonias
A very large and versatile family of plants, giving a choice of colour, habit of growth and hardiness.
The Begonia ‘Destiny’ will give you pleasure throughout the summer. You will be thrilled with beautiful range of mainly double pastel shades. One big advantage of Begonia ‘Destiny’ is it’s ability to show off the flowers well above the leaves. These leaves are a bright green and serve as a great background to the flowers. This background not only shows off the flower colour, but will protect the flowers from soil splash during rain showers. Why not add this delightful plant to your shopping list, even in an open garden the strong stems will ensure the flower will remain upright displaying their beauty. The begonia ‘Destiny’ is an excellent plant for container growing in the smallest porch or patio garden.
The dwarf mixed colours of Begonia Sahara or the classical bright coloured double flowers of Begonia Destiny will brighten up your borders. Whichever you choose, Begonias will provide your garden with a splash of colour all through the summer from May to the first frost.
Impatiens ‘Summer Waterfall’
What better name could you give a summer bedding plant than ‘Summer Waterfall’. It conjures up the idyllic picture of a hot sunny afternoon and a cooling shower to refresh you, and my imagination can go a little further into the cool evening as I walk around the garden admiring the Impatiens ‘Evening Delight’.
I cannot think of another summer bedding plant with such an abundance of colour as the Impatiens, and so adaptable and versatile in its growing needs. Impatiens ‘Summer Waterfall’ has the additional advantage of looking attractive in hanging baskets and raised containers, where the flowers cannot be attacked and spoilt by hungry slugs and snails.
